Far enough from the water to keeps circuits dry, yet close enough to take in the splendor of the Pacific, Trivalve emerges from a secluded headquarters in the wooded foothills of Oakland with a mix of instrumental surf tunes that draw from diverse influences: fab four, bebop, kung fu, cold war, italian pop, and Ludwig acrylics, to name a few. Performing in the greater Bay Area since 2009, DAN STEVENSON provides a thundering backbeat on drums, held tight and fat with ROCKY LABER on bass, while GENE TUCCI adds reverb-soaked embellishment to round out a distinctively Californian modern-retro sound.
