ExpiredHot Steel & Cool Ukulele (Tropical Swing)

Hot Steel & Cool Ukulele is a band that features classic songs of the hapa haole bands who entertained at the ballrooms and barrooms of the Waikiki beach hotels. The unique sound of the steel guitar, played Hawaiian style, was prominent in those bands, as was the ukulele. The method of playing guitar horizontal on the lap with a steel bar originated in Hawaii.
