Guará e Juba consists of Andrew McKleroy, vocals and guitar and Dave Eagle, percussionist.
In the bands own words: We play a variety of rhythms and styes from Brazil, so it is not unusual for us to start with an impressionistic and lovelorn Bossa follow it with a slinky, mid-tempo Samba then steadily ramp push the tempo with a lively Forró. When it apparent the audience needs a break we pull back and groove with a hip-swinging Carimbó and Brazilian Reggae. We have a repertoire for every occasion and a sensitivity to mood and atmosphere.
